I am Travel Agent in Michigan,
but am willing to think outside the box of Resorts and Many star hotels.
for both myself and clients. My wife and I enjoyed two weeks in Jan/Feb
this year One week first floor. about fifty steps to beach, second week
third floor, end awesome views. best of both worlds. I highly recommend and
as the following comments indicate Brad is a real gentleman. gary walter

We stayed 6 nights in the unit
239 and loved this
place. The booking was easy and Brad and
Wendy were really helpful. The room has
everything you need for a relaxing stay on this
beautiful island. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai
and viewing the sea.

We were in Kauai for our
daughter's wedding at Ke'e Beach. (Not 1 drop of rain the whole time).
Chose to stay in Kapaa because it was centrally located on the island and
we stayed in Unit 252. Being that our stay on Kuai was short(only 4 days)we
didn't get to relax and enjoy the property as much as we would have liked.
Next time for sure. The Trees restaurant in the parking lot is a
"MUST". Music was great too! Parking is at a premium so if you
get back to your unit too late you might have to park in the Coconut Market
Place which is just an extention of the exisiting parking lot. Also, nice
to have shops walking distance from the property.

My husband, daughter and I spent
11 wonderful days at Kreller’s Getaway Unit 160.The room was very clean and
had everything in it that we needed. The property is absolutely
perfect!Coconut Marketplace is right next door and had several places to
shop and eat. Spent every morning watching the sun come up on our own
private beach and the island of Kauai is very beautiful and the condo is
centrally located to the which makes for easy travel. Brad was very
accommodating, answered all my questions, and made our dream vacation such
a wonderful experience. Many Many Mahalo's to you Brad and Kreller's

We stayed in Unit 329 and it was
PERFECT! The
instructions were clear, we had no trouble finding
or entering the condo. It was centrally located. They
had everything that we needed, beach towels,
kitchenware (that we didnt discover until the last
day), and beach items left by others (beach mat,
boogie boards). We loved our view of the beach and
sitting on the patio hearing the waves crashing on
the sand/rocks. It was definitely a treat! Thank you
Brad for a wonderful stay!

We stayed at Islander on the
Beach in
unit #131. It was just as advertised and
had a great view and was close to beach
and pool. We love the Poipu Beach area
so bought some folding chairs for the
beach and left them in the closet for
future guests to share. We certainly
enjoyed our time and relaxed.

We had a beautiful time in
December when we stayed in unit #320. The Islander on the Beach's east side
location cannot be beat, and Brad was incredibly friendly. The unit was
clean with a gorgeous view. We loved eating breakfast (delicious fruit from
the farmer's market that is a very short walk away) on the lanai. We will
definitely be back. Thank you, Krellers!

We spent a week in unit #323 in
February. It was fabulous! The unit was exactly as described on the
Kreller's website. The location of 323 is on top floor of the end building
facing the ocean - very scenic & very quiet. We went to sleep every
night listening to the ocean. The Islander is nicely located in Kapa'a.
Good home base for visiting the rest of the island. Brad & Wendy were
great to deal with. We even contacted them during our stay when we were
looking for activity suggestions & they got right back to us. A bulb
was burned out in the bathroom & it was fixed the next morning.
Overall, a great unit that we would DEFINITELY recommend.

We had booked to stay with the

compassion in which Brad handled the situation was beyond compare. You can
book from them assured that you are dealing with real human beings and the
facilities are just as lovely. We will definitely be back to Krellers

We stayed in unit #324 and
although we weren't
used to a condo (usually rent large houses), the
view and location absolutely made it worth it. We
spent most of our time at the beach, pool, bar,
market and balcony so the room location was ideal
and I spent 80% of the time barefoot (3ft of snow at
home so took advantage). Brad at KrellersGetaway
was great from first inquiry to end. His responses
were super quick and he was more than
accommodating for us. This was undeniably the
best Hawaiian rental experience we've had in the 5
yrs we've been renting.

Stayed in unit 160. I've been to
Kauai a number of
times, and usually stayed in this area for its
conveniences and easy access to the less travelled
parts of the island. Everything was as promised, and
for me, someone whose daily agenda is more or
less random while on vacation, and on a bicycle, so
somewhat dependant on the weather, not feeling
like I had to be out of the unit for a particular time
of day for housekeeping was an aded bonus.

What a great vacation. We stayed
in unit
319 and could not have been more
pleased. We both travel a lot for work
and pleasure and can honestly say this
was one of our best trips in a long
while. Having the ability to cook light
meals and having your own refrigerator,
not to mention brew our own coffee was
fantastic. The unit is in such a great
location for exploring the island. Being
ON the beach was great as well. We loved
the hiking, kayaking, helicopter ride,
beaches, the people and the overall
trip. By far our favorite Hawaiian
island and we will definitely be back.
Brad was very helpful, responsive, and

I cannot say enough good stuff
about our experience with Kreller's Islander Getaway Unit #160 April 2012.
My wife and I were on spending our Honeymoon in Kauai and we had no
experience or knowledge of the Island. The Condo was perfect just as
promised. No surprises. The location is perfect if you want to see the
whole island. It was a short drive from any part of the island. All of my
research was online. When you booking over the internet with only pictures
reviews and their word to rely on, you never really know what you are going
to get. Brad and Wendy were excellent in communicating and working with all
our needs. They were always quick to reply to my e-mails and answering any
questions I had. When we visit again, they will be the first people we call.

Great experience at
KrellersGetaway
Kauai #320. Central location. Clean upon
arrival. Cable TV, wired internet (1
connection only--bring a wireless router
if wireless is important to you), beach
accessories (cooler, chairs, towels)...
couldn't ask for anything more! I'd stay
again when I return to Kauai. Note that
I was worried when reading other reviews
about parking--but even if parking runs
out, you're able to park in an adjacent
lot after obtaining a pass. It's not a
hassle, and it's just as close as some
of the parking spots within the Islander
lot.

Kauai is beautiful and the
Kreller's units are the perfect place to base your island vacation. This is
the second time I've stayed in one of the Kreller's units and I've been
very impressed with their responsiveness, the unit's cleanliness, and the
reasonable rates. Islander On The Beach is convenient to everything and the
grounds and amenities are very nice and low key. I love being able to walk
to shops, restaurants, equipment rental places, and trip guides. And, of
course, walking on the beach is wonderful.

grounds are well-maintained, and there's a handy ice machine
nearby. The condo complex was conveniently located as a great
homebase for our various day trips. We had a wonderful stay.

the perfect place to end our 17 day stay on Kauai. It was very clean and cozy.

ocean. Great surf sounds to lull you to sleep. Nice pool and near by
shopping & restaurants. We will definately go back. Brad & Wendy

This is definitely the best way
to stay
on Kauai - a balance between not paying
hotel prices and not having to stay in a
hostel. You get almost all the
facilities of Islander on the Beach but
pay less. The resort is one of the
nicest around - its right on a beach and
in fact, if you want to, you can use
parts of the resort next-door too
(restaurant etc). You can't really swim
on this beach as its too dangerous most
of the time but that didn't matter, the
views were great and we drove to some of
Kauai's best beaches. The Krellers were
very helpful with our numerous pre-
booking questions, which encouraged us
they could be trusted. We stayed in
apartment 320 and were very pleased.
There was a sea view and a mountain view
from the balcony. We had 2 big beds and
the apartment was equipped with coffee
maker, microwave and other bits and bobs
that helped the stay. We borrowed their
coconut mats and towels for the beach,
and could also have used their chairs
and body boards. All in all, a very good
experience and would do it again.

We just stayed at unit #160 and
had a
fabulous time. The unit was exactly as
advertised on a lovely beach that was
visible from the lanai. The room was
very clean and had everything in it that
we needed for a week's stay (even coffee
filters and extra beach towels!!). We
had no issues with hearing the people in
adjacent units or in adjacent buildings.
The location on the East side of the
island is excellent for travel to all
the sights of Kauai. Brad (owner) was
very helpful to us in booking our stay
and answering questions prior to and
during our stay. The resort had a great
beach walking path that we used every
morning to go see the sunrise. The
other accommodations on/near the resort
(pool, pool bar, Coconut Marketplace)
were nice and conveniently located. The
unit had some nice extra touches: 1)
Ultimate Kauai Guidebook for use, 2)
extra beach towels, 3) beach chairs and
beach mats that were donated by previous
guests, 4) iPod radio and dock, 5) sheet
with tips and tricks for a successful
stay in the unit, and most important 6)
a notebook with notes from all the
previous guests that give highlights of
the stay and restaurants and sights
worth seeing. The sentiments expressed
in the notebook, and all the history of
people enjoying their vacations was
really special to read. I would
definitely stay here again.

amenities at the complex (pool, hot tub, laundry) and adjacent to Coconut

visit, eat, etc. Another reason to stay here is the
central location to most of the island. We like to

And, one of the best restaurants on Kauai is right

We loved our stay in Kauai in unit 320. It had enough of an
ocean view to satisfy us and we could watch the sunrise. The
A/C worked marvelously, drowning out all the noises and the
mattresses were wonderful. We esp. enjoyed eating waffles
(from the toaster) on the lanai each morning. The laundry
was easy enough to use, the hot tub was great and the ocean
was right there. There isn't enough parking at the place,
but that is not the Kreller's fault. We walked to eat at
Coconut Marketplace several nights. By walking south
towards the airport we spotted a little protected tidepool
that was perfect for our little grandchildren who were
staying at the Marriott. We often walked the path between
the two hotels. Wired internet in the room and Brad gave us
the code to the wireless next door so we could use the
tablet in the room. There is WiFi on the porch by the front
desk.

Wow! We had the most incredible
time in Kauai.
We took our whole family (there were 8 of us) for
a week to the most beautiful island in Hawaii. We
stayed in 160 and 115 and they were both
ground floor which made it so easy to drag
ourselves back to the rooms after a busy day.
Both rooms were very clean and the beds were
so comfortable. We were able to get internet
access in 115, which was perfect. We loved the
location as it was central to everything. With a
big family to feed, we loved that Costco wasn't

We stayed a week in unit 115.
Working w the
Kreller's was professional & hassle free. From
first contact our vacation planning was so easy.
The unit was extremely clean, nice extras such
as built in hair drier, iron/board & beach towels.
Previous renters left great items such as, beach
chair, boogie boards, large sun umbrella which
we used during our stay. The pictures do not do
the unit or property justice. Few steps away is a
fanatic beach. We were fortunate to see whales
from the beach & around the Island. The Islander
On The Beach is directly behind the Coconut
Market. The location on the Island is perfect to go
North or South. Not far is a beautiful Safeway &
Longs Drug Store. We had heard stories about
the hih cost of items & food. They were not that
high. Lower than we found items on our trips in
Alaska. The pool, hot tub & Sand Bar area is
nice. We met people from around the world.
What they paid for rooms was so high. We are
planning to return, in fact our first day out, my
husband found a place to apply for work. Must
be a sign. We made friends we hope to see
again. I highly recommend Kreller's Getaway. U
will not be disappointed. They make your trip so
easy, you'll wonder, like us, why we did not go
earlier to Kauai.

Unit 320 rented from Kreller's
Getaway was even better than expected. The unit is clean and comfrtable
with a nice terrace. The property, surroundings, proximity to the Coconut
Marketplace and Kapa'a town really make this stand out from the rest. The
place breathes relaxation withs its wooden style buildings and friendly
staff. The peacuful beach is only steps away. To top it off there is a
lovely bar at the pool. Brad an Wendy Kreller are very welcoming and will
answer your questions from the first inquiry to anything you would like to
know on Kaua'i. This place is by far the best value in the area!

We stayed in Unit 115, and
everything went smoothly. First, dealing with the Krellers prior to the
trip was hassle-free. They were very accommodating, answered all my
questions, and returned correspondence in a timely manner. Next, the unit
was clean, with updated furnishings, dvd player, TV, CD player, AC/Fan
unit, hawaiian music CDs (nice touch), Kauai guidebook (another nice
touch), kitchen essentials, nice linens and towels including a pair of
beach towels (again another nice touch). The view from the 115 lanai was
perfect with a nice ribbon of ocean waves visible beyond the beautiful
greenery of the hotel/condo grounds. The hotel/condo grounds have nice
landscaping with hala trees, cobra lilies, a beautiful orchid collection,
and many other species. There are three gas grills next to the pool, hotub,
and bar, and a free wifi connection. The beach in front of the hotel/condo
is narrow but you can lounge in the sun amongst the palm trees on the
grass, and get wet in the ocean. The ocean is a little rocky here,
regardless of the sandy beach, but is safe to get wet in with reef walking
shoes. Be careful, though, it is probably not super safe here for young
children, or a lot of offshore swimming. No lifeguards. The beach is a VERY
short dash from Unit 115, and almost as good as being in a beachfront unit.
If you are here in the winter, LOOK FOR WHALES from the beach!! The
location of the condo, in Kapa'a is excellent with access to the east,
north, and south beaches. Restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping, are
nearby in Kapa'a, a nice beach town. Kapa'a also has a paved beachfront
"boardwalk" trail for strolling and bike riding-GREAT VIEWS. Our
favorite nearby beach was Kealia Beach which has a spot for safe swimming
to the north, near a breaker, and also surfing and boogie boarding to the
south. Another excellent beach for whale watching. A wonderful experience,
and I can't recommend this unit or the Krellers enough. Have FUN and
mahalo!

Aloha,
We stayed in unit #319 and it was perfect for my husband & I. We stayed
for 4 nights and it worked out well for us. The grounds are nice, the unit
had a great view as we ate our meals out on the lanai! Checked in Nov. 20th
and checked out the 24th 2011. It was quiet and we loved being able to
sleep with the sliding glass door open to hear the ocean at night! The
place was not crowded during this time and the pool area was nice. The
bathroom is huge! A hotel style type room but perfect for a short stay. The
cal. king bed was roomy but firm due to being so new. Only complaint was
they could leave 1 extra roll of TP our roll was either a small one or not
a full one and well anymore than 4 nights and you'd have to buy your own
TP! All in all a great location and a quiet place. The price is great and
the owners were wonderful to work with! Thanks Krellers! Mahalo for a great
start to our 20th anniversary - Samantha and Vernon Miller

we just spent a week at Brad's
wonderful condo in Kauai and we TOTALLY recommend it! the location is
perfect (on the beach but private, walking distance to a shopping
village/center and easy drive to both south and north of the island). the
room itself was clean, with a very classy dark wood theme and easy access
to the grounds/beach/parking lot. Brad even left us a box of chocolates
which was a nice treat after a long day of travel :)
would definitely come here again! oh and for the price, its just an UNBEATABLE
value..we laughed at all the people paying way more for the "pay per

WONDERFUL WONDERFUL, Don't
mortgage the house to visit Kauai. Krellers Getaway's condos are clean,
nicely A/C and right on the beach. Studio isn't huge, but very comfortable,
and saved $ by eating some meals there. We liked the grill next to the
pool. Parking was a challenge-came back one night and no spaces, had to
park in "Red No-Parking" area, which seemed OK to do.

Stayed in unit #239 for 5 nights
at the end of
September 2011. It was clean, comfortable and a
welcome place to call home after a fun day of
exploring the island. Definitely appreciated the
blue Kauai Ultimate Guide book & that there
were beach mats & things left to use. Also liked
the friendly atmosphere around the pool area but
know that it is a public area that other locals &
visitors from other resorts can frequent. If you
want more privacy, the beach can be a great
place to escape to and the view is awesome.
The pool/ocean view & privacy of the room were
great as was the central location to laundry &
parking. Great casual food to grab from the
Coconut Marketplace (The Fish Hut) & TuTu's
soup Hale and Monico's Taqueria were also
fantastic. When you go, make sure to drive all
the way to the top of the Waimea Canyon drive
to catch the awesome view of the valley (read it
in the guidebook). Absolutely breathtaking! Kauai
is a magical place & I will definitely be back and
would love to book with the Krellers again!

We just returned from staying in
unit #131 from Sept 3 to Oct 1 2011. It is everything the Krellers
indicated. Close to all areas of the island, yet quiet, and very laid back
so it is easy to recharge the batteries! We took a great many of the
Krellers suggestions regarding tours and restaurants and were not
disappointed with any of them. We met many friendly people around the Sand
Bar, both vacationers and locals. Look up Ally (the bartender) when you go,
she is a joy. Thanks Brad, see you next year.

(Unit 160) The memory of
beautiful Kauai, highlighted by a sunset cruise along the Na Pali coast,
will remain in our minds forever but our stay was made even more special by
the chance meeting of Brad & Wendy as they were at Islander on the
Beach, not vacationing as we all were, but working to make sure all their
units not only met but exceeded their guests' expectations. They were a
pleasure to deal with over several emails & phone calls prior to our
stay. Not to repeat all the superlatives that their guests have already
written, we will just add here that we were lucky enough to see a monk
seal, identified as AK13 by animal volunteers, resting on the Islander
beach and to be the first to sleep on the new mattress, to cook on the new
2-ring electric stovetop, and to use brand new towels! Mahalo nui

stayed in both 160
and later when my friend Jennifer joined me we
stayed in 323. Both were nice. 323 having a
great view from the 3rd floor and a window. 160
was a quick walk out the patio to the beach. The
grounds are well kep and there is just a good
feeling at the 'Getaway'!
Many friendly people come often & stay for long
periods making it a much cozier 'at home feeling'
than a resort atmosphere although it has all of
the amenities of a resort. Coconut Market was
so convenient for many things & their prices were
very good. Great location to access both the
North, East & South beaches & towns as well as
the airport. Tempted to stay a month next time.
Brad was great about immediately addressing
any issues both before and during our stay!

The fact that I couldn't stay a
month was the only thing wrong. We stayed in unit ll5 for 5 days. It was
perfect for the two of us. We could see the ocean from our patio (that is a
selling point for me)
Kappa is a perfect location to everything on the island. The resort setting
between the ocean and the market place made it very convenient.
Brad was extremely helpful with suggestions for car rental, tours, etc.

Fabulous 2 weeks. room was
exactly as described. Location was perfect to reach anywhere on the island
within a short drive. Grocery stores a couple of blocks away. Busy little
diner serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very pleasant people. Kauai is
very laid back and not hard to just sit back and relax, but fun adventures
can be found.
Owners Brad and Wendy very nice and made reservations easy and straight
forward. We would definitely go back and we highly recommend it. Price was
right and accommodations clean and cozy.
Thank you Brad!!!

We stayed in unit 323 and we
were absolutely thrilled with our accommodations, the location, and all the
amenities Brad and Wendy offer. I look forward to renting from them again.
Aside from how great the facilities were, working with Brad and Wendy was
an absolute pleasure. I booked this from Afghanistan and Brad went above
and beyond to tailor this special trip for my wife and I. My ever changing
schedule and lack of phone/email access made planning difficult, but Brad
was very flexible and helpful every time we spoke or exchanged emails.
Additionally, the blue book and recommendations from Brad and Wendy were
very helpful. Thanks Brad, we had a great time!

We spent 7 great nights in unit
319 and loved everything about it, particularly taking our breakfasts on
the lanai and watching the sun rise. The unit is particularly private and
quiet, except perhaps for the rooster who at least is sufficiently polite to
wait until the sun has appeared over the horizon before he sounds his
trumpet!! We left the door open to the lanai every night to be lulled to
sleep by the ocean waves and to let in the pleasant night air. We
particularly enjoyed the fact that we could stroll across the parking lot
to Hukilau Lanai for dinner a couple of times. Great food and service! Next
time we will also use the barbecues by the pool to cook ourselves a meal.
Thanks to Brad and Wendy for offering this place at an affordable price. We
will return and recommend it highly to others....

I spend 8 great days in unit
319. It's a great unit in an awsome location. It's on the quiet side of the
complex, away from the pool bar which can get quite active on the weekends.
A great ocean view from your lanai makes for a great place to have breakfast
as you watch the sky light up with the sunrise. The unit is stocked with
everything you need and more! The complex is very clean and well
maintained. I guess the best thing I can say about Kreller's Getaway is
"I'll be back!"

Hi Brad,
We enjoyed the unit (#319) very much !!!! It was a great place, good
location, quiet, and had all the goodies that we wanted and needed for a
brief holiday. The beaches along the east coast were great, I enjoyed the
Anini area the most. We went to the Smith Luau which was quite good, and
also the boat trip along the Napali coast..... although it wasn't as
photogenic as the brochures suggest. I guess it was okay if you like brown.
I can't name all that we saw and did, but we have no regrets, and thank you
for allowing us to stay in your unit. I do have one question
though.......how come there are so many chickens running free on Kauai ????
Many thanks !!!!!!!!!!

Aloha Kellers,
We just got back from Hawaii a couple of days ago. Went
on to the Big Island to see my family and the weather there
was as awesome as Kauai.
We want to thank you for sharing your Hale with us. We
had a wonderful time and it was just a beautiful island to
visit after so many years. We did the whole island as well
as saw forgotten family.(that was the highlight of our
trip).
Everything was easy to find and follow while staying at
the Condo. The beach was right at our finger tips and the
service with the pool area was great. We even had a family
BBQ there.
I have recommend our family and friends to your place. I
have this is okay, we really had a wonderful time.

enjoyed the central location for our exploring the whole island. I
especially enjoyed bonding with the sea turtle 3 feet off the beach and
snorkeling with him once. we enjoyed a great meal at the Hukilau and the
entertainer Tutti Aiu has a magical voice that made me cry happy tears of
feeling the aloha spirit. Everyone should be so blessed. Our 33'rd

Great rates for a great spot!
This condo is right on the beach, on the East shore about equi-distant to
North or South shores. The shower in this unit is like a liquid massage!
And the A/C PUMPED! There was beach gear available to us (although not
complete sets of mask, snorkel, fins) but got great deal on snorkeling
rental. Book on Snorkeling Kauai that was in the room was EPIC! There
wasn't any silverware, but Im sure that will be fixed very soon:) The
owners were more than gracious and accomodating. We got a GREAT deal on a
convertible thanks to the link they provided us. We also were able to cook
up our own fish on the bbq grills on site, and our quinoa on the hotplate
stove in the room...although going out to eat was maybe my favorite part!
There is a great late-night place right across the parking lot, coffee
available in the am, shopping all day, food and night life! Even if you
didn't leave the condo area, you'd have everything you need! mahalo brad
and wendy:)

Unit #115
We had a very enjoyable stay in the condo at Islander on the Beach - it is
in a lovely position with ocean views through the garden from the lanai and
very convenient being on the ground floor. It was also nice to walk in to
music playing and to find a welcome box of chocolates.
We particularly enjoyed having the use of the guide books, particularly the
Blue Book and Snorkelling Kauai, both of which we used almost every day. We
also appreciated the beach mats, chairs and cooler, and children would love
the noodles and boogie boards.
The only thing we missed was having a jug kettle - we English do like
boiling water for our cups of hot tea!
Thankyou Brad and Wendy for a very enjoyable week.

Perfect!!
So we spent 8 days in unit 131 and they're telling the truth when they say
just steps to the ocean. We would sleep with the door open some nights
listening to the waves. The room had everything that we needed and then
some. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location was great for jumping
off to explore any part of the island. The Na Pali sunset cruise was
fantastic, so were the Puka dogs in Popiu. We went to the Hyatt one night
and had dinner at 'Tidepools'. The atmosphere was amazing but the food was kinda
hit and miss. Much better local places to eat at. We detoured on the way to
the airport to each get another Puka Dog and some relish to take home. The
hotel had a great pool side bar with some fun bartenders. Pool area was
nice, never really crowded and the grounds of the place were just
fantastic. The Coconut marketplace just across the parking lot was very
conveniet with the general store being close. Easy acess to access to cheap
beer for the cooler provided in the room. It also had a few decent places
to eat. We have been telling everyone about this condo and would recommend
it to anyone looking for a great place to stay on Kauai. We will be back!

What a locale! Imagine just
stepping out (literally, just steps away!) every morning to play in the
water and lay under the sun. Imagine an oceanfront lanai (and I mean
oceanfront!) to enjoy the winding down of the day. We were very impressed
and happy with our stay in unit #323 and would surely stay there again. It
was very clean, neatly decorated, and just the right size for two. The
grounds are beautifully immaculate! Plus, the location was so convenient.
It is walking distance to the Coconut Marketplace (great buys/souvenirs),
Eggbert's (the best breakfasts and banana macadamia pancakes anywhere), and
the Hukalai Lanai (superb dinners well worth the price!) Finally, the place
is so central to everything else Kauai offers...other beaches, stores,
restaurants, scenic views, etc. Our sincere thanks go out to Mr. Brad
Kreller for his guidance, advice, and great service in booking this condo.
No doubt, this was one of our most memorable vacations!!!

...A little slice of heaven!
I had recently made some changes in my life and I needed a place to escape
the big city and reflect on my past, present and future. I was in need of a
recharge!
Having been to numerous all-Inclusive Resorts in many tropical locations
throughout the world, I knew these were going to be filled with noisy drunk
people, screaming children and overly loud music. So I opted for a private,
quiet rental in Hawaii. I booked my week with Beverly and Bob at #131
"islander on the beach", Kauai, Hawaii.
You can quote me on this...It was a little slice of heaven!!! It easily
surpassed all my expectations!
The room was modern and elegantly designed & decorated and a cool
retreat from the warm & sunny beach. The beach was literally at my
doorstep and the surf lulled me to sleep each night. The bathroom was
gorgeous and clean, with a ton of counter space and giant mirrors, which is
important to a gal like me, I am a Make Up artist by profession! ;)
I enjoyed the fact that when I wanted to read, write, sleep, do yoga or
just simply be alone in this tropical paradise, I could easily do so with
no interruptions. And on the flip-side, when I wanted to have a chat with
some friendly people, I could do that at in the common areas.
I would highly recommend renting this condo (#131), but get in line...I'm
already booking a week with my Boyfriend in November!! Beverly and Bob and
Brad are an absolute dream to interact with and I know you'll enjoy them as
much as I have.

This was our 7th visit to Kauai,
most of those times we have stayed at the Islander. The Islander is a great
place to stay as it's halfway to the beaches in the south or the north,
although one of my favorite places to spend the day is on the beach in front
of the Islander or by the pool. We stayed in room 319, which has an
unforgettable view of the ocean from the lanai. I appreciated all the help
from Brad, especially his suggestion to try Priceline to rent a car. I had
never tried this before and I think we spent half what we usually do
(Thanks Brad!). We loved the chocolates awaiting us and using the beach
towels, beach chairs, etc. I highly recommend the rooms at the Islander the
Krellers offer. Very fair deal. We had a wonderful vacation!

wonderful sights to see in addition to wanting to spend time on the beach, in
the water snorkeling observing every color imaginable in the fish which
swimn by. There are a host of wonderful restaurants serving a delightful
variety, and yet the simplicity of breakfast on the lanai with fresh fruit
purchased from a roadside stand watching and listening to the waves break
on the beach is awesome. We will be back, and special thanks to the

We totally enjoyed the beauty,
peacefulness, cleanliness and the features of unit 160. We have stayed in 1
or 2 BR appts in the past, and weren't sure how a studio would work for us.
We were pleased that the space worked very well. We had several meals created
by grilling at the Weber grills, located by the pool. The kitchenette had
very adequate refrigeration space and worked well to prepare salads and
vegies for our meals. We also enjoyed several great bagel, toast, cereal
and assorted breakfasts, watching the sun rise from our lanai.
The Islander Resort provides a beautiful, tranquil setting and a very
usable sunbathing, snorkling and swimming beach. A rare combination.
Shopping is a short walk away, yet we felt so relaxed in the privacy of
this tranquil garden setting.
We could not have asked for a more pleasant vacation.

We have just returned from a
great week in unit 160. We arrived late at night after a long flight to
find a very clean room and a comfortable bed.The bathroom was also spotless
with and very large. We were travelling with 3 other couples and we had the
best unit without a doubt. The extras supplied by the Krellers were very
much appreciated(beach chairs, towels and mats, cooler and snorkle gear).
Unit 160 is on the ground floor which we really enjoyed as it was easy to
come and go as opposed to having to go up and down stairs everytime we went
out. The view of the ocean is excellent from the lanai and perfect for the
morning sunrise. The Hawaiian music cd's provided were also a nice touch.
The Islander is situated perfectly on the Island. We didn't have the best
weather during our trip but it didn't really matter as we were only 30
minutes from either end of the Island. We would check with the activity
desk and ask where the sun was shining and off we would go to one of the
beautiful beaches recommended. The ladies at the activity desk also helped
us with recommending different activities and restaurants and were spot on
with each. They also made our reservations for us. We highly recommend a
helicopter tour with Blue Hawaiian. You will really see how beautiful and
undeveloped this Isalnd still is.Happy hour at the pool bar is fun also. We
met some nice people and the Mai Tai's and Pina Coladas were tasty ya.One
last thing... I was a bit of a twit one morning(probably too many Mai Tai's
the night before) and screwed up the number on our room safe. Unfortunately
I had to disturb Brad but he was so understanding and I had the safe open

at the condo complex. It has trees overhanging the sand so we could get
shade. We are recommending the Krellers to all of our friends.

WOW! We started our vacation on
the wrong foot. When we got to the airport at 7:30 am, we learned our
flight was canceled. After hours of waiting in line we were finally
transferred to another airline and arrived in Kauai 6 hours from our
original reservation. We were so exhausted! We walked into the condo and we
were in aw. What an amazing condo. There was music playing on the radio
when we arrived along with a box of candy for us. The view from the condo
is priceless and the grounds are great. I have to say that I plan on going
back to Kauai and will be contacting Brad and Wendy first to try and rent
one of their units. It just had that special touch! Thank you so much for
the great experience! Mahalo!

Just returned from a great week
staying in Unit #160. The location on the East Shore was great for first
time visitors providing equally good access to the entire island. The unit
location in the Islander is also great. Loved waking up and looking out at
the ocean first thing in the morning. Brad and Wendy were great to work
with and addressed all our inquiries promptly. Would definitely rent from
them again. The accommodations were nice - comfortable bed, good shower,
etc. Great having the coffee maker, toaster oven and fridge. Good laundry
facilities. Kauai was wonderful!

We really enjoyed our stay at
the Kreller's condo #115. We were welcomed with chocolates and Hawaiian
music playing. The unit location was great, steps from the parking lot,
steps from the beach and next to the ice machine which came in handy. The
Coconut Marketplace which is less than a 5 minute walk has shops and
restaurants. Pick up beer/alcohol and cheap souveniers at Whaler's Cove.
Not being big restaurant eaters and being on a budget, our favorite places
to eat there were Aloha Kauai Pizza and Harley's Tropical BBQ. Order both
from the window and eat outside at the picnic tables or walk back to your
condo for about $7 a person. Would totally recommend renting bikes at
Coconut Coasters and riding the 5 mile bike path, it was breathtaking with
many secluded beaches. Go early to avoid the crowds! The condo was clean
and had everything we needed, mini-fridge, microwave, toaster over, beach
chairs, cooler, etc. A great condo for a great price. Thanks Brad and
Wendy!

My 79 year old mother and I
recently stayed at Islander on the Beach and found it to be "home away
from home." It was perfect for us and we loved every minute. It was a
quiet change of pace and a perfect vacation spot to get away from everything,
but it was also close to shopping, eating, sight seeing and fun as well.
This was absolutely perfect and the Krellers were great to deal with. Kudos
to a wonderful vacation!

Brad and Wendy,
Thank You so much for the use of your condo at Islander on the Beach. Your
property was very clean and comfortable. We stayed in room #319 and the
view every morning from the lanai of the ocean/sunrise was fantastic.
Having stayed at Islander on the Beach years ago we were concerned as the
hotel/grounds were very run down and in desperate need of repair. The
remodel is fantastic. It was like staying in a totally different resort.
The grounds are beautiful and the upgrades in the rooms were very nice!!
The location of the hotel is perfect for dining, shopping, beaches, etc.
Thank you for making the process of renting your condo painless, easy and
enjoyable. This was the first time we rented from an individual owner and
the experience was very positive. We visit Kauai at a minimum of once a
year and would not hesitate to stay at your property again. (In fact, we
are looking forward to it.)
A big thank you to previous guests who donated their beach chairs, boogey
boards, etc. It was very much appreciated.

Brad and Wendy have thought of everything! The condo was well stocked. We
especially enjoyed the cooler and beach chairs that we could take with us
on our daily trips. Working with the Krellers was a wonderful experience.
We received detailed information and well wishes prior to our trip and even
a follow up email following our trip to ensure all had a wonderful time. I
plan on taking advantage of their hospitality again in the near future.
TIP: make sure to read the guestbook. Several people recorded their
favorite activities while visiting the island. This will give you some
great ideas what to do.

Our 6-day honeymoon in Kauai at
the Kreller's unit 319 at Islander on the Beach was fantastic! It was our
first trip to Hawaii and we could have stayed for a month! The condo was
perfect - great bed, great shower, great kitchen, etc. It was so much nicer
than any hotel and so much cheaper! We used the provided air conditioners,
flatware and utensils, guide book, boogie boards and snorkel equipment the
most. We spent a lot of time on the lanai and loved the view of the ocean.
Happy hour at the tiki bar is 4-6 everyday and is a good place to meet
visitors and locals - we even had a potluck dinner there once. The location
of the condo was perfect for enjoying the beach, finding great places to
eat and shop nearby and easily touring the entire island. We highly recommend
the Kreller's rentals to anyone going to Kauai - Brad and Wendy are
wonderful, will make everything easy for you and are great to work with!

We stayed in Unit #319. It was
as advertised: clean, attractive and pleasant. More than that it is located
next door to shops and eating places. Good beaches nearby, the airport is
10 min. away as is the main town of Lihue. It is easy to drive to the north
coastal attractions as well as the Poipu/Koloa areas to the southwest.
Kapaa 1/2 mile to the north has restaurants, Safeway, gasoline, bakery and
other stores for your needs. Don't expect to park by your building as the
lot was quite congested when we were there.

Unit #319 is lovely, very clean
and had a view of the beach from the lanai. We enjoyed all the little
amenities that are included in the unit, microwave, the coffee maker, the
utensils and most of all the box of chocolate covered macadamia nuts. Quite
a nice welcome treat. When we booked the units, we stayed too at the
Keller's ground floor unit (#115), both have the same amenities, though
there are some differences between the units, but enjoyed both of them.
Would suggest staying at ground floor unit if you can not deal with going
up 3 flights of stairs, as the building does not have an elevator. If you
like the view of the beach while drinking your mai-tai, go for the 3rd
floor unit, and you will enjoy it. Though you can also see the beach from
the ground floor unit. At the 3rd floor unit, you can even leave the
sliding door open at night and listen to the sound of the ocean. Thanks
Brad and Wendy for sharing your units with us and thanks too, for giving us
the great deal. We will definitely come back to stay in any of the units
again and highly recommend any of the units to those reading this comment.

We had the absolute best
vacation here!!! Not only is this island picture perfect but the Kreller's
condo is great. Everything was all set for us when we arrived making us
feel right at home. We were right near both the beach and a pool with a bar
for those lazy days :) The location on the island is ideal too...basically
right in the middle of everything. Each day my husband and I would just
head out and decide right or left to explore a new part of the island.
There is also right great shopping and dining here. All in all this is
definately a place we will be coming back to in the future!! Maholo to Brad

well maintained. We found the bbq facility at poolside most accessible and
the location of the unit, with the ocean just a few hundred meters away,

accommodating hosts, both during the planning time and with any questions

better than depicted in the website as the ferns are gone, so the view is

day or the South another day. Recommend the heli tour by Sunshine, Kauai
Sea Tours for the Sail and Snorkel tour and Nat'l Botanical Gardens.
Snorkeling with a boogie board allowed us to skim over the reefs and see
more than not using them. Thanks to Brad and Wendy for having the snorkel

We stayed in unit #115 for a
week the end of Aug. and first part of Sept. We should have stayed 2 weeks!
After a hectic year, we found Brad and Wendy's condo really relaxing! The
box of choc. was a pleasant surprise, as were the snorkle gear, (we'd brougnt
our own gear), beach towels and beach chairs. The suggestions in the guest
book were helpful. We could have travelled with just carry-ons.
We really enjoyed the food at Hukilaui Lanai, a short walk from the condo.
Good fish sandwiches at TC's Island Grill, good barbeque at Scotty's Beach
Side BBQ in Kapaa.
We took a catamaran trip from Hanalei around Na Pali, into some sea caves,
and time for some snorkling. Beautiful! Took the road past the Wamaiamea
look-out, to the small museum, and to the end of the road, where we parked
and hiked awhile.
Bought ahi at Costco, barbequed it on one of the 3 good Weber gas grills by
the pool.
The condo was clean and everything we needed was there. The air

This is our second stay at this resort. This was our first time
that we rented the private condo. We stayed again because we just loved the
location, the grounds, the beach within steps of our rooms. The
stores,shops,
resteruants, etc. all right by us , but yet a world away it seems. The
grounds
are beautiful. The rooms our very pleasing. We chose #319 this trip based
on the
pictures provided through the website and we were very pleased with its
wonderful views and location within the resort property.(And the room
itself)The
owners seem wonderful to work with and most helpful about any inquiries.
This
place is a great getaway if your looking for quiet relaxation in paradise.
The
beach is not crowded and you are centrally located to most attrctions. If
you
like the small vs. the large resort atmosphere with a great location ,my
wife
and me highly reccomend this.

We stayed in Unit 160 and
couldn't have been more pleased. After a long, late flight we devoured half
the box of chocolates that were left as a gift for us, thank you! This unit
is literally about 20 steps away from the beach, and every morning we ate
breakfast on the lanai while watching the ocean, as well as being
entertained by the resident chickens and kitties. The location of the hotel
is ideal if you are active and want to see everything on the island. It was
only a half hour drive to the North shore as well as to the West shore, the
Waimea River is right there to kayak up to the "secret falls",
and Lydgate Park which is less than a mile away is the best place for a
first time snorkeler or just a nice easy place to swim. Having the cooler &
snorkel gear was great, as well as the kitchen which allowed us to prepare
our own meals and reheat leftovers, we saved a ton of $$ staying here. We
spoke to a honeymoon couple that was paying $300 a night directly to the
hotel, we felt guilty telling them how little we spent. The air
conditioning was a life saver the first few nights while we acclimated to
the heat from our chilly northwest weather. After our stay here we had to
meet up with family and stayed at a spendy resort in Poipu, however both of
us wanted to go back to our little "home" at the Islander. We
highly recommend staying in the Kreller's properties, they were so easy
& pleasant to work with, always responded right away, and with a sense
of humor too! Thanks so much for a fanstastic vacation, wish we could have
stayed longer! We will definitely be back. -Aloha-

When you see the other
accomodations on Kauai you will be SO GLAD that you chose, like we did, to
stay at the Krellers'. The beautiful grounds, the quiet beach, the friendly
staff, the central location, and the luxury of the condo far surpassed our
expectations. We stayed in Unit 160 for a week which gave us time to see
most of the sights AND relax at the condo. We saved enough money at

This year we stayed in unit #115
last year we stayed in unit #160 and hopefully we'll be back in the future.
With the current airline and economic situation who knows. The only thing
we can count on is getting a Super deal from Brad & Wendy, they help in
making Kaua'i a little more affordable. As for the Island of Kaua'i and the
the beautiful Islander On The Beach there's not much more to add to all the
prior comments by former guest. Kaua'i is a great place to visit and using
"Krellers getaways" is one of the best ways to make your stay
afforable and enjoyable.

My family and I stayed in Unit
319. Everything was better than expected! Our vacation was beyond fabulous!
There's plenty of things to do on this island. We snorkeled (gear in room),
hiked, kayaked, ziplined, rock climbed and went tubing. Of course we also enjoyed
the beautiful beaches, sunsets & sunrises. The Monk Seals tend to beach
themselves around 7:00am and go back into the water around 5:45pm. It
became a daily amusement for us.
Rent with confidence when you rent from Brad & Wendy. Communication is
great. We also enjoyed the surprise gift in the room!

We stayed in unit #115 in early
April - the unit was perfect! The lanai was protected (it rained one day
but we still were able to have coffee outside) and had a view of the ocean.
The room was immaculate and there were plenty of towels, pillows and
kitchen ware for the stay. The instructions were well detailed and the
Krellers had the best travel book in the room for guests to use.
As promised, the beach was 75 steps away (though we didn't actually count)
and each morning there was a harbor seal snoozing on our beach.
Be sure to enjoy the pool including the island drinks and note that there
is a webcam near it in case your friends and family miss you.
This condo really made us feel like we were far away from the frenzy of the
mainland - it was really the perfect vacation home.

were lots of fun as was just sitting in a lounge chair on the beach watching
the sunrise. The sweet resident cats added a lot of charm. There's a bag of

Aloha! We spent our hollidays
from 2008 march 1 to 16th in unit 319. Well it was really very nice and
quiet place. You can find even a snorkling near in this unit, and a few
very helpfull Kauai guide books. Coconut market place it's just a few
minutes away from home, where you can find a great and tasty local food for
low price! Unit is very close to the beach, with nice gold sand beach.
location is great for accessing any part of the island Norht and South. We
traveled arround all the island, and I can say, Kappa is the best place for
stay!
The another very good thing, there is WiFi available in 319 unit! also some
nice little grey birds flying to balcony every day, they are very lovely if
you feed them a little bit bread. They become our good friends during our
stay.
We reccomending visit moloaa bay, it's the most beautifull beach in Kauai,
and it's close Kapaa.
I definitely reccomending to anyone this great unit! you will be not
dissapointed staying there.

work. The next morning we called the owners who were very responsive in
giving instructions and when that failed, had someone there within minutes
to help out. They were very pleasant and helpful and did everything they
could to fix a problem that wasn't their fault. (It was a faulty sensor
installed by the facility). I would highly recommend renting from them and
would give them a 100% satisfaction rating.

I recommend Brad and Wendy's
property without hesitation and would happily spend another week there. Our
September week in #160, celebrating our 40th anniversary, far exceeded our
high expectations. If we were planning this trip again, we would do it exactly
the same way. Great facility, well-kept grounds, great location, great
people to deal with, and of course a great price. I agree with all previous
guest comments except the one that suggests the hotel's ocean beach is
suitable for swimming. Although a few adult guests were sometimes in the
water close to shore, signs warn that the waters may be hazardous, and
there are no lifeguards. However, the sandy beach lined with palm and other
trees is a great place to sit, sun, relax, watch surfers, and watch fabulous
sunrises, and the pool is also available. Lydgate Park's fine protected
beach, which is suitable for children and snorkeling, is very close by. We
were a little worried about possible rainy weather on the leeward side of
the island, but it was sunny most of the time we were there, and cloudy or
windy periods were still quite comfortable.

The studio and condo complex
were GREAT! The beach was just a few steps out the door and had a sandy
beach great for sun bathing or swimming. It is also a great location for
watching the sunrise, which we did 4 of the 5 days we were there. Parking
was hassle free and there is a great market next to the complex with
excellent shops and inexpensive restaurants with great food (Pizza was very
good and the fish hut has great shaved ice, egg beaters has a very good
breakfast). We would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a great time and the unit
had everything we needed. It was in a central location, too. The guide
book, cooler, and snorkels, were nice touches. It was a great place to stay
and an incredible value.

I couldn't possibly describe the beauty of Kauai and unit 160. Parking was
hassle free, shopping and food are within walking distance and the beach is
jaw dropping. The people are so kind and the location of this unit puts you
in the middle of all the great activities and sites of the North and South
ends of the island. I loved your place and I am already planning my next
trip. Do you do year long rentals??? Thanks again!!!

Brad and Wendy are absolutely
wonderful people who make every effort to ensure your vacation is an
enjoyable one with no hassle and at a very reasonable price. being Military
I rarely have the oportunity to enjoy a family vacation and choosing this
one was the best decision I could have made. my wife and I with two kids
(10 and 11) stayed comfortably at #160 and it was the perfect island
get-away,
even though we live in Hawaii we are already planning another trip to what
in my opinion is the most beautiful of all the Hawaiian Islands (Kauai)
Thank's Brad and Wendy!

We spent two weeks in Hawaii and
stayed in 5 different places, but this was our favorite. The grounds are
lovely, the beach is great, the beds were comfy and everything was very
very clean. Brad & Wendy were helpful and easy to work with - we will
call them again next time we head to Hawaii. Mahalo again~!

Our stay at the condo was
absolutely wonderful. This vacation was a dream come true. Everything we
needed was right at hand and many special touches made us feel right at
home. This condo is close to just about everything, including the beach.
Thank you Brad & Wendy for being so easy to work with and providing us
the opportunity to share your piece of paradise. We would like to make a
return trip and bring more friends! God Bless.

Nice place at a good price. Only
a short walk (25yds?) to the beach. We took walks along the shore most
mornings and saw monk seals a couple of times. In the evening we often
relaxed on the beach until the end of the day.
Good location in the middle of the island. Just a short half hour to either
the north or south beaches.

We've stayed North, South shores
over 15 years time and Islander(#319)works best for convenient location
from which to explore Kauai. Excellent value, quiet, quality
accommodations, walking path along beach, yet great proximity to shopping,
groceries and good eats. Mahalo, Brad and Wendy for prompt responses and
assistance, too.

The pictures we saw on VRBO did
not do unit #115 at the Islander justice! It is very well done, very clean,
updated decor and a great value! We loved the pool area with bar service at
2pm AND we loved being steps from the beach. They had a wireless hotspot available
in lobby and a great laundry fascility on site, too! Thank you for sharing
your place with us! We will visit again & share this secret treasure
with friends & family. Your special touches were very appreciated.

Our stay in unit #160 was
fabulous and far exceeded any expectations that I had prior to our arrival.
The unit was very new, clean and very reasonably priced. We will definitely
be back. And the bonus was that the owners Brad and Wendy were absolutely
lovely to work with. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

The condo was great! Andrew
devoured the chocolates
that were waiting for us when we arrived, and I played
the Hawaiian music constantly! We used the snorkel
gear and had our own barbecue near the pool. It was
like our own little Kauai home. We can't wait to make
another trip! Thank you Brad and Wendy!

The owners answered all emails
quickly and were very accomodating. The bed was more comfortable than ours
at home, and having the option of air conditioning was a huge plus, even in
March. The condo is centrally located, and is very close to grocers, restaurants,
water activity rentals, fun hiking trails, etc. The hotel grounds are very
well maintained, and the blooming trees and shrubs are beautiful. The beach
is a great place to catch the sunrise. We were pleased to have found this
condo and would stay there again.

Arguably one of the best places
to stay on Kauai. The lanai is very private, the beach a hop, skip away for
sunrises, centrally located for all island activities. All for an excellent
rate. Brad and Wendy are great to work with as well.

Our family with two young

needed, and it was conveniently located within minutes of family-friendly
Lydgate Beach Park & just a short drive to Poipu. The price was right
too. Look forward to visiting again!

This was a wonderful place to
stay. The unit was spotlessly clean, was a great location, centrally
located on the island, with a beautiful beach, pool and even a bar on the
property. We would highly recommend this unit. The owners were also
wonderful to rent from, quick to respond and meet any needs.

Brad and Wendy Kreller's condo
(unit #160) at Islander on the Beach was a great and affordable find. The
unit itself was clean and comfortable, and literally, on the beach. The
sound of the waves lulled us to sleep every night. The rooms are also very
quiet. The condo is located in Kapa'a and we found it to be a good central
location for day trips. Decent restaurants are located within a short
walk's distance, inluding a great mexican and korean bbq restaurant. Thanks
for the hook up!
